Gilbertcentre
The Registered Nurse will provide front‑line nursing, outreach, testing and health promotion for clients living with or at risk of HIV and Hepatitis C. Working within an interdisciplinary team, the RN will deliver comprehensive primary care, harm‑reduction education, and support clients across the continuum of care in both clinic and community settings.
The Gilbert Centre is a community-based, not-for-profit charitable organization that has been providing programs and services in the Simcoe Muskoka region of Ontario since 1995. It supports people living with and affected by HIV/AIDS and Hepatitis C, as well as 2S-LGBTQ+ communities, through services including HIV/HCV testing and navigation, harm reduction outreach, sexual health programs for gay and bisexual men, and queer and trans youth programming. The organization also offers Safer Spaces training and consultation to help nonprofits and businesses create more inclusive environments.
