A Research Assistant at the Clinical Research Unit assists with the recruitment and enrolment of ongoing clinical trials, including industry, grant funded, and investigator-initiated trials. Assists with recruitment activities and development of recruitment materials
Performs data collection, entry, and documentation of process
Maintains research stock supplies and monitors inventory
Operates clinical and laboratory equipment

Qualifications

Completion of a relevant technical program or a university degree in a relevant disciplineCurrent Venipuncture certificate and CPR CertificationKnowledge of ICH and GCP RegulationsTraining in WHMIS, Chemical Safety, Biological Safety and Transportation of Dangerous GoodsDemonstrated ability with computers and to effectively use MS Word, Excel, Power Point, spreadsheets, databases, and electronic communications
