About this role

The Research Assistant/Technician 1 will support the Sorensen Laboratory’s basic and translational research on Ewing sarcoma and other high‑risk pediatric cancers. The role involves routine cell culture, biochemical and molecular assays, media preparation, and daily mouse care under the supervision of the Principal Investigator. The position is full‑time, non‑union, and based at the UBC Hospital site in Vancouver.

Responsibilities

Assist with routine cell culture maintenance and assay preparation
Perform sample preparation and biochemical analyses following protocols
Maintain mouse colonies and record data using Mosaic software
