Research Associate I (Computational Biology / Machine Learning)

The Zhao Research Group at UTMB is seeking a Research Associate to develop physics-informed AI methods for understanding biological systems, with applications in molecular biophysics, protein interactions, and therapeutic discovery. The role involves contributing to cutting-edge computational biology research, method development, and software engineering within an interdisciplinary team. Team members will collaborate on projects integrating structural biology, graph machine learning, and large language models to address fundamental biological questions.
