Research Associate I (Computational Biology / Machine Learning)

The Zhao Research Group at UTMB is seeking a Research Associate to develop physics-informed AI methods for understanding biological systems, with applications in molecular biophysics, protein interactions, and therapeutic discovery. The role involves contributing to cutting-edge computational biology research, method development, and software engineering within an interdisciplinary team. Team members will collaborate on projects integrating structural biology, graph machine learning, and multi-omics data to address fundamental biological questions.
