About this role

The Resident Care Attendant at AgeCare Cariboo Place ensures high standards of resident care by observing changes in resident status, assisting with daily living activities, and collaborating with the nursing team to develop and evaluate care plans. The role involves providing personal care, monitoring resident well-being, and reporting any changes to the Nurse. This position requires a registered Care Aide with a minimum HCA Provincial Certification and at least five years of experience in a continuing care setting.

Responsibilities

Observe residents and report changes in condition to the Nurse
Participate in development and evaluation of Nursing Care Plans
Assist residents with bathing, feeding, and transfers using safety equipment
