AVI Health & Community Services
The RN STI Nurse will provide preventive clinical services, testing, treatment, and education for HIV, HCV, and other sexually transmitted and blood-borne infections at the AVI Nanainto Community Health Centre. Working four days a week, the nurse will deliver harm‑reduction, trauma‑informed care, conduct assessments, administer vaccines, and support clients with complex health needs, including substance use and poly‑substance use, in both clinic and community settings.
