A Registered Nurse - Perioperative provides therapeutic nursing care across the preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases for surgical patients. The role applies the nursing process to assess, plan, coordinate, and evaluate patient care while ensuring safety, asepsis, and continuity across the surgical care continuum. The nurse works as part of an interdisciplinary team and supports patient/family education, advocacy, and quality improvement activities.
