About this role
The RN Resident participates in a 12-month Nurse Residency Program designed to support new graduate RNs (less than six months' experience) in transitioning into professional nursing practice. The role involves unit-based orientation, specialty onboarding, and monthly residency sessions, with mentorship from unit leaders, educators, site coordinators, and preceptors. Residents provide direct patient care in accordance with Wellstar Standards of Care and professional nursing practice.
