The Registered Nurse (RN) 2 provides clinical nursing services in a hospital unit caring for population-specific patients across the lifespan, including those with simple to complex multi-system conditions. The role works within multidisciplinary teams, follows specialty and organizational standards, and supports patient- and family-centered care. The RN reports to the Director or Nurse Manager and may participate in supervision of licensed nursing assistants.
