About this role

As one of the first engineers at Budbreak Innovations, you will own the end-to-end development of autonomous ground robots for commercial agriculture, defining system architecture and scaling the platform from prototype to production. The role involves integrating GNSS, LiDAR, and camera sensors on edge computing platforms while developing autonomy algorithms for vineyard navigation and real-time perception. You will carry work from concept to field deployment, directly impacting the technical foundation of the company's robotics solutions.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain software for multi-sensor integration on edge computing platforms
Improve robot autonomy algorithms for vineyard row navigation and obstacle response
Design and implement real-time perception and field intelligence data processing
Diagnose and resolve system-level hardware-software boundary issues in vibration environments
Support field deployments and create technical documentation for operations teams
