About this role

NewLimit is seeking a Scientist to establish and grow its mRNA analytical testing suite, leading the development of analytical methods to characterize DNA templates and mRNAs. This hands-on, lab-based role within Technical Operations will interface with Delivery Sciences, research teams, and external CDMOs to support process development efforts as programs advance toward the clinic. The position involves building the analytical suite from the ground up, running and maintaining assays, and collaborating on documentation and method transfers.

Responsibilities

Develop and establish analytical methods for DNA template and mRNA characterization
Lead studies to evaluate method robustness, specificity, and performance criteria
Perform routine testing of DNA templates and mRNA materials to support process development

Qualifications

Ph.D. in analytical chemistry, biochemistry, molecular biology, chemical engineering, or a related fieldM.S. with 5+ years of relevant industry experienceB.S. with 7+ years of relevant industry experience
