Security Officer

Security Officers maintain the safety and security of people and property on the University's campus by patrolling areas, providing escorts, directing traffic, and securing buildings. The role involves resolving minor conflicts, preventing crimes, preparing reports, and serving as a professional role model for students. Incumbents do not carry firearms, write citations, or make arrests, and are distinguished from sworn police officers.
