SEN Caseworker

The SEN Caseworker is responsible for managing a caseload of Looked After Children within a defined group of schools or geographical area, overseeing their Education, Health and Care Plans from assessment through to ceasing. The role focuses on coordinating assessments and reviews in accordance with the Children and Families Act 2014, with a specific emphasis on transitioning young people into their next phase post-18. The position requires knowledge of SEND legislation and financial responsibilities regarding Looked After Children.
