SEND Lead Worker

The SEND Lead Worker plays a pivotal role in coordinating and facilitating Education, Health and Care Needs Assessments and overseeing the review and monitoring of Education, Health, and Care plans (EHCP). This position focuses on preventive and early intervention, ensuring services are child, young person, and family-centred while efficiently managing administrative functions within statutory processes. The role involves identifying when specialist involvement is necessary and establishing appropriate contacts, with a significant portion of time spent at locality hubs or on visits.
