About this role

The Senior Analytical Scientist supports synthetic and biologic drug substance processes from process transfer through scale-up, optimization, and production at the Lilly Medicine Foundry. This lab-based role on the Analytical Sciences and Technology team collaborates with cross-functional teams to develop and implement analytical methods and Process Analytical Technology (PAT) tools. The position focuses on establishing a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement while driving technical solutions for diverse drug substance production.

Responsibilities

Transfer and refine analytical methods for synthetic and biologic drug substance processes
Drive implementation of technical solutions and analytical PAT strategies for drug production
Serve as subject matter expert and technical mentor for team members on experimental design
