Senior Autonomy Validation Engineer

This role supports Caterpillar’s Command for Hauling autonomous program by focusing on lab-based system integration, validation, simulation, and machine performance analysis. The engineer will primarily validate workflows in L8 Hardware-in-the-Loop environments while collaborating with simulation, test track, and field-support teams to improve release quality and reduce risk. The position involves developing simulation capabilities using real machine data to enhance model fidelity and expand validation coverage.
