About this role

As a Senior Cost Accountant at Riverside Natural Foods, you will partner with plant operations and procurement teams to drive operational performance through actionable financial insights. Key duties include leading monthly production variance reporting, managing site-level costing innovations, supporting financial forecasting, and coordinating year-end audit activities. You will influence decision-making for cost optimization and operational excellence by analyzing manufacturing data and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Lead monthly production variance reporting and manufacturing scorecard delivery.
Own innovation and site-level costing including validation of product formulas.
Support financial forecasting and coordinate plant-specific year-end audit activities.
Provide recommendations for productivity initiatives and capital expenditure decisions.
Partner with plant leadership to resolve operational financial issues and optimize costs.

Skills

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, or AccountingCPA or equivalent accounting designation3-5 years of progressive experience in finance within a manufacturing environment
