The Senior Data Engineer will design, develop, and maintain scalable and secure data infrastructure on Azure, providing technical leadership and data enablement across the organization. The role collaborates with analysts, product teams, and external consultants to ensure high‑quality data pipelines, governance, and platform adoption, supporting evidence‑based decision making.
Better Cotton Initiative (Better Cotton or BCI) is a global non-profit that works to make cotton production more sustainable and to improve the livelihoods of cotton farming communities. It develops and promotes practical standards, farmer training and verification to reduce environmental impacts (water use, soil health, pesticide reliance) and boost productivity and income. BCI partners with brands, retailers and supply‑chain actors to scale adoption of better practices and increase the volume of responsibly produced cotton worldwide.
