About this role

As a Senior Data Scientist at Sun Life, you will support Canadian business units in accelerating the growth and application of advanced analytics and GenAI. Reporting to the Director of Data Science, you will translate business goals into analytical problems, design machine learning solutions, and lead the development of AI agents and chatbots. This role requires leveraging practical experience in data science techniques to drive value and foster innovation within the analytics community.

Responsibilities

Translate business goals into analytical problems and optimal algorithms
Design and deploy GenAI solutions including AI agents and chatbots
Apply machine learning methods from design to implementation
Mentor junior data scientists and guide data engineers
Engage with stakeholders to present findings and business recommendations
