About this role
The Senior Firmware Engineer I will work in Rocket Lab’s Optical Systems division supporting DoD and Intelligence Community space-based EO/IR payloads and the SDA PWSA Tranche 3 effort. The role focuses on developing and validating FPGA-based firmware using modern tools and technologies (including Xilinx) and supporting integration with hardware and software teams. The position is based in Chantilly, VA and requires eligibility for U.S. government export and security requirements.
