About this role

Sweatpals is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Scientist to lead ambitious ML initiatives across the marketplace, focusing on ranking, retrieval, classification, and LLM-powered features like HostCopilot. Reporting to the Head of AI, this role involves end-to-end ownership from problem framing and data exploration to deploying production models and measuring real user impact. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to ship models that drive retention, GMV, and discovery while maintaining rigorous evaluation standards.

Responsibilities

Define and solve complex fuzzy product problems using cutting-edge ML approaches
Design and execute end-to-end ML pipelines from offline evaluation to online deployment
Build and maintain LLM-powered agent systems with tool use and structured outputs
Partner with product and growth teams to measure model impact on key metrics
Establish rigorous evaluation harnesses and monitoring for production models
