B Lab is a nonprofit network that certifies and supports B Corporations and maintains the B Lab Standards — a rigorous framework for measuring social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability. It provides assessment tools, certification services, standards development, and programs to help businesses improve governance, environmental impact, and social practices. B Lab also convenes a global movement of companies, policymakers, and partners to scale stakeholder-driven, inclusive economies and to advance legal and policy changes that embed purpose into business. Organizations pursue B Lab certification for independent validation, benchmarking, and access to a community committed to responsible, mission-aligned business.
