Hexium
Hexium is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the modernization of Atomic Vapor Laser Isotope Separation (AVLIS) technology into scalable, industrial-grade hardware. The role involves translating legacy research into manufacturable designs, advancing systems through simulation and prototyping, and serving as the mechanical design authority for initial prototype and pilot systems. This position will initially be based on-site at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory before transitioning to a Hexium production facility.
Hexium is building the next generation of isotope enrichment technology to fuel the nuclear renaissance, starting with lithium.
