About this role

Kairos Power is seeking a Senior Plant Reliability Engineer to independently lead integrated reliability assessments and investigations supporting the design, manufacturing, testing, commissioning, and operation of nuclear and non-nuclear hardware demonstration projects. The role involves contributing to the development and commercialization of Kairos Power reactors, evaluating risk analyses, and communicating technical conclusions to teams and leadership. This position requires mentoring engineers, improving reliability program methods, and providing support for major hardware demonstration projects during commissioning and operations.

Responsibilities

Lead integrated reliability assessments and technical investigations for hardware projects
Evaluate risk analysis results against acceptance criteria and characterize remaining risk
Mentor reliability engineers and improve reliability program methods and work processes
