About this role

As a Senior Platform Engineer on Amplitude's Cloud Platform team, you will own medium-to-high-complexity infrastructure projects end-to-end, designing self-service automation and scalable AWS environments for the engineering organization. You will build AI-augmented tooling, manage Infrastructure-as-Code for Kubernetes and cloud providers, and evolve the CI/CD backbone to improve developer throughput and reliability. This role involves mentoring junior engineers, driving observability initiatives, and shaping the platform roadmap to support the company's AI-first strategy.

Responsibilities

Design and ship high-impact platform projects for developer experience and reliability
Build AI-augmented tooling and workflows for engineers
Own Infrastructure-as-Code for Kubernetes, AWS, and GCP
Evolve CI/CD backbone to make deploys faster and safer
Mentor junior engineers and drive observability initiatives
