FIREFLY
The Senior Positive Behaviour Interventionist provides evidence‑based behavioural intervention services to autistic and other developmentally diverse children and youth while mentoring and supporting Positive Behaviour Interventionists across the FIREFLY region. Working under the clinical direction of a Registered Behaviour Analyst or psychologist, the SPBI maintains a caseload, delivers ABA services, and acts as a primary resource for training, onboarding, and practice consistency.
FIREFLY is a not‑for‑profit children’s treatment centre serving Northwestern Ontario with locations in Kenora, Dryden, Sioux Lookout, Fort Frances, Red Lake and Atikokan. It delivers integrated treatment and support services for children, youth and their families—such as therapy, assessment, and community‑based programs—aimed at improving health and developmental outcomes. Guided by the vision “Healthy people. Resilient families. Vibrant Communities.,” FIREFLY partners with local agencies to provide accessible, family‑centred care across rural and remote communities.
