About this role

Leidos is seeking a senior engineer with deep expertise in large load and renewable interconnections, especially within the ERCOT market. The role will support transmission‑level planning, system impact studies, dynamic modeling, and EPC design for utility‑scale renewable projects and hyperscale data center developments. The candidate will work closely with transmission service providers, ISO/RTOs, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance and optimal system performance.

Responsibilities

Lead large load and generation interconnection studies in ERCOT and other transmission systems
Develop and validate steady‑state and dynamic models for PV, wind, BESS, and data center loads
Interface with transmission service providers, ISO/RTOs, developers, and OEM stakeholders
