The Senior Security Engineer - Security Operations serves as the senior technical lead for GE Appliances' detection and response capability, owning the engineering behind the SOC, including detection content, automation, and telemetry. This role drives the continuous enhancement of threat detection, investigation, and containment across enterprise IT, cloud, and manufacturing environments while acting as the technical counterpart to the managed security services provider. The position is accountable for measurable improvements in detection coverage, fidelity, and response speed.
