Senior Software Engineer - Identity & Authentication (Backend) - Contractor

A hands-on senior backend contractor role on Vanguard’s European Client Identity team responsible for building and operating the firm’s authentication and MFA platform used by clients across the UK and Europe. The position focuses on designing, deploying, and operating cloud-based identity services in a regulated environment with an emphasis on security, reliability, and operational discipline. This contract is available for up to 12 months and is based in Vanguard’s London or Manchester offices.
