Solace is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design and build core data-path components for Solace Diskless Streaming for Apache Kafka (SSK), a high-throughput, log-based streaming system. The role involves implementing and evolving the Apache Kafka wire-protocol handling, building and hardening storage engines, and tuning for scale, security, latency, and robustness. The engineer will work end-to-end on the data path using Rust and collaborate with the open-source community on the Nisshi repository.
