Hermeus is seeking a Senior Software Simulation Engineer to develop and deploy real-time simulation environments for aerospace flight control and avionics systems. The role involves leveraging Model-Based Design principles with MATLAB/Simulink to translate dynamic system models into executable code for Hardware-in-the-Loop and Software-in-the-Loop testing. This position bridges control system design and embedded software implementation to ensure accurate representation of aircraft dynamics under simulated flight conditions.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain real-time simulation environments for flight control and avionics systems
Build and support SIL and HIL test environments for flight software verification
Use MATLAB/Simulink and Model-Based Design workflows to create models and generate real-time code
