About this role

The Emulation Engineer role within the Emulation Center of Excellence develops and maintains complex subsystem emulation models to support advanced semiconductor design validation. This position drives emulation bring-up activities, executes rigorous test plans, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality pre-silicon and post-silicon design readiness. Candidates will optimize emulation performance, automate workflows, and engage with EDA vendors to evaluate tool capabilities for cutting-edge Custom Compute and Storage products.

Responsibilities

Build complex subsystem emulation models across industry-leading platforms.
Drive emulation bring-up activities including clock reset sequencing and firmware boot.
Execute emulation test plans to support verification and performance analysis.
Debug complex SoC and subsystem issues across RTL, firmware, and tools.
Optimize emulation performance and automate flows using scripting languages.

Skills

Qualifications

BS in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science5-7 years of emulation experienceMS or PhD in relevant field (required with reduced experience)
