About this role

The Senior Staff Engineer will lead the design and development of network emulation capabilities within Shield AI’s Hivemind simulation environment. The role focuses on building radio and networking models that capture realistic routing, interference, and signal degradation effects to assess autonomy performance under contested and degraded network conditions. This position operates at the intersection of simulation, networking, and RF systems and supports both internal development and external mission rehearsal use cases. The engineer will also contribute to the EdgeOS communications networking stack used in production autonomous systems.
