DuPont is hiring a Senior Technical Associate for its Advanced Mobility Vespel® R&D team in Wilmington, DE. This role involves conducting organic reactions, manufacturing polymer parts, and performing materials characterization using various laboratory and pilot-scale equipment. Candidates will work in a safety-focused environment to support interdisciplinary research and development under the guidance of a Technical Principal Investigator.

Responsibilities

Independently conduct organic reactions at laboratory and pilot scales
Manufacture polymer parts through mixing, milling, pressing, and sintering
Characterize polymer structure using NMR and IR spectroscopy
Maintain accurate experimental records and electronic laboratory notebooks
Troubleshoot and calibrate laboratory and pilot-scale equipment
