Sheriff's Technician

The Sheriff's Technician performs clerical duties involving the receiving, entering, maintaining, researching, retrieving, and distribution of records, orders, documents, evidence, and data related to the enforcement of local laws in Beaufort County. This full-time, non-exempt position is assigned to the BCSO Law Enforcement Center and operates under the direct supervision of the Criminal Records Supervisor. The role offers opportunities for promotion and potential transfer to other divisions within the Sheriff's Office as they become available.
