About this role

The Site Operations Manager will own the physical fleet of battery energy storage system sites in New York City, overseeing safety, integrity, and operational readiness from commercial operation date onward. This role builds and leads the field team, manages on‑site maintenance, vendor quality, and emergency programs, and serves as the primary on‑site representative for all maintenance activities.

Responsibilities

Lead daily site operations and quality assurance for BESS assets
Build and manage 24/7 on-call field team and vendor programs
Own FDNY compliance, safety protocols, and third‑party maintenance approvals
