About this role

The Automation Solution Architect serves as the technical owner for a next-generation controls platform supporting marine, utility, rail, and microgrid sectors. This role combines systems engineering, architecture, and leadership to define end-to-end solutions, manage technical governance, and engage with customers and stakeholders. The architect is responsible for aligning architecture with enterprise standards, driving the technology roadmap, and leading cross-functional teams through the solution lifecycle.

Responsibilities

Define and maintain end-to-end solution architecture for complex industrial systems
Act as primary design authority making key technical decisions and trade-offs
Lead cross-functional architecture teams including controls, software, and cyber
Translate customer needs into architectural decisions and technical requirements
Manage product lifecycle from concept through commissioning and decommissioning
