Special Education Bus Driver/Substitute Bus Driver

Under limited supervision, operates a school bus equipped to transport students with medical, behavioral, physical, and developmental disabilities, ensuring their safe and timely transportation to and from school and program sites. The role requires compassion and collaboration with bus monitors, school staff, and families to support individualized needs and district safety standards. Essential duties include operating the bus in compliance with state laws and district policies, performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and using behavior-management strategies to ensure student safety and dignity.
