About this role

The MLB Former Player Internship introduces recently retired Major and Minor League players to the business side of baseball by placing them in Baseball Operations teams at the Commissioner's Office in New York City. Interns gain work experience and project management exposure across functional areas such as On-Field Operations, Transactions, Draft/Medical/International Operations, Replay, Baseball Economics, and Player Programs. The six-month internship runs April–September 2026 and applications are due March 1, 2026.
