Public Counsel
The Committee for Public Counsel Services (CPCS) Boston PDD Trial Office is seeking law students for a Spring 2027 internship to provide legal representation and advocacy to indigent clients in criminal cases. Interns will work under the supervision of veteran attorneys, social workers, and investigators to handle tasks such as legal research, drafting motions, and conducting pretrial investigations. The position offers valuable training and opportunities to participate in arraignment and bail advocacy, as well as second seating trials.
Public Counsel provides pro bono law for children, families, veterans, students, immigrants, nonprofits and small businesses.
