About this role

As a Sr. Principal Security Engineer at Lilly, you will serve as a senior technical leader within the Security Architecture & Engineering organization, leading strategy and architecture across the application security program. You will provide architectural direction, lead tool evaluation, and drive critical security transformation initiatives while acting as a trusted advisor on program-level execution risks.

Responsibilities

Define and maintain architectural direction for the Secure SDLC program
Lead structured evaluations of security tooling across SAST, DAST, and SCA platforms
Assess security impact of platform migrations and define remediation paths
Conduct security reviews for high-risk applications and infrastructure changes
Translate regulatory requirements into implementable security architecture
