Varda is seeking a Senior Propulsion Engineer to lead ground fluid systems, serving as the technical authority for architecture, design, and operations across spacecraft programs. This role involves defining operational approaches, leading propellant loading campaigns, and establishing technical standards to support reliable orbital missions.

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end lifecycle of ground fluid systems including architecture and design
Lead propellant loading campaigns across multiple sites ensuring safety and reliability
Define and enforce operational procedures and engineering standards for flight specifications
Act as the technical escalation point for complex problems within the propulsion team
Mentor junior engineers and drive the technical roadmap for the ground fluids discipline
