About this role

The Staff Software Engineer on Artera’s Digital Workflow Automation and Resource Fellows (D.W.A.R.Fs) team will define and scale the backend platform that powers AI-driven patient communication. Reporting to the Senior Engineering Manager, this role owns complex, multi-quarter initiatives around agentic AI, MCP servers, and high-throughput distributed systems. The position acts as a technical multiplier through architecture leadership, mentorship, and cross-team influence while ensuring the platform meets strict federal security and compliance standards. The engineer will work closely with product, design, and data/ML teams to turn advanced technical capabilities into practical, patient-centered solutions.
