About this role

The Staff Machine Learning Engineer will lead technical initiatives on Nuro’s Behavior & Planning team, turning large‑scale driving data into safe and natural vehicle behavior. The role involves designing, training, and productionizing state‑of‑the‑art models across areas such as foundation models, reinforcement learning, and transformer‑based prediction, and owning the full model lifecycle from data collection to on‑road deployment.

Responsibilities

Lead ML initiatives across the autonomy stack from concept to on‑road deployment
Design, train, and productionize state‑of‑the‑art models for prediction and planning
Own the full model lifecycle including data, training, onboard inference, and evaluation
