About this role

The Store Manager In Training (SMIT) is a 16-week, development-focused program designed to prepare participants for a CVS Store Manager role through self-paced, virtual and hands-on learning. Trainees receive coaching and support from district leaders, HR partners, training store managers and store manager coaches to develop leadership capabilities. Selection for the program supports promotion readiness but does not guarantee advancement to a Store Manager position.
