The Store Manager In Training (SMIT) is a development-focused role designed to prepare candidates for a CVS Store Manager position through a structured 16-week program. The program combines virtual and hands-on learning, coaching from district and store leaders, and opportunities to gain leadership experience in a CVS retail pharmacy setting. Participants are expected to engage in key learning experiences and support store operations with the goal of promotion to Store Manager.
