This position supports participants through street outreach, facility-based support, and community engagement to foster stability and independence.
YSS is one of Iowa's oldest and largest nonprofits, empowering youth and families for over 50 years through shelter, counseling, mental health services, and life skills programs. The organization operates initiatives including homeless youth services, residential addiction treatment (Ember Recovery), foster care advocacy, and opioid prevention education.
