Public Counsel
The Public Defender Division, Malden Office is seeking law students for a Spring 2027 internship. Interns will work closely with attorneys, investigators, and social service advocates, representing clients in court (if certified) and handling legal research, drafting, and case investigation under supervision. The position is in‑person, unpaid, and open to students who have completed their first year of law school.
Public Counsel provides pro bono law for children, families, veterans, students, immigrants, nonprofits and small businesses.
