The Subcontract Technical Manager at X-energy oversees the technical backbone of TRISO-X's subcontract oversight for nuclear fuel fabrication. This role ensures suppliers meet nuclear-grade standards while coordinating across engineering, quality, and procurement teams to manage cost, schedule, and performance. The position requires acting as a critical bridge between internal disciplines and the supply base to maintain program objectives and contract requirements.

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day execution of subcontracted scope and technical requirements
Monitor cost, schedule, and performance against approved baselines
Manage vendor relationships and coordinate design reviews and acceptance activities
Ensure compliance with federal regulations and nuclear quality assurance standards
Develop funding forecasts and manage burn-rate monitoring for authorized budgets
